The Archipelago

The Archipelago is a collection of islands thrown up by an ancient meteorite. It has become home to a wide range of races, each trying to mine the minerals and gems found nowhere else on the planet.

This sometimes brings tension to the area.

It was not set up as one of the original Empires as it was not thought that anyone could live there permanently when the Empires were created.

There is a huge whirlpool at the centre, deadly to shipping.
